  • Visa-free access for 90 days is granted to citizens of the following countries: Belarus, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, UAE, Uzbekistan
  • For citizens of Qatar, the visa-free period is 30 days
  • Iranian citizens can enjoy a 15-day visa-free stay, specifically for visits to Nakhchivan
  • For citizens of all other countries, an online visa (e-visa) can be obtained through the official website
  • If you're planning to stay in the country for over 15 days (or 30 days for citizens of Kazakhstan), you must register your place of residence within the initial 15 days. Failure to do so or registering late could result in a fine
  • If you're staying at a hotel, they will take care of your registration for you
  • If you're renting apartments or staying with relatives, you'll need to handle your registration yourself. This can be done online, after getting the required details from your host or by filling out the registration form together, or you can visit the ASAN service in person
  • When changing the place of residence, a foreigner must be registered at the new place of residence within 5 working days from the moment of arrival at the new place of residence

Navigation on-site
  • Make sure to install the Maps Me app in advance and download the offline map of Azerbaijan for the specific region you'll be visiting
  • The official stores of the mobile operators Azercell, Bakcell, and Nar / the official kiosk of these companies at the airport
  • E-sim (If your mobile supports this feature)
